I was disappointed that one of my hoses arrived frayed in several placesl. The hose is still extremely functional, but not as aesthetic looking as I would like .

Everything is fine with the hose, however the coupling that attaches to our spigot does not go deep enough to cover the whole spiggot threads, therefor there is some leakage at this site.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
The coupling on the Pocket Hose Copper Head is designed to fit standard 3/4" garden hose spigots. In some cases, it may appear that the fitting does not fully cover all the threads on the spigot — this can happen due to slight variations in spigot thread length or design.
A small portion of exposed threads is normal and should not cause leakage as long as the internal washer is properly seated and compressed.
To help resolve the leakage, we recommend:
Ensuring the rubber washer is properly inserted inside the coupling
Tightening the connection firmly by hand (do not overtighten)
Checking if the washer is worn, misaligned, or missing
Try an additional or slightly thicker washer to improve the seal

In the last 50 years of my life I have had many different hoses. Most of them have been stiff, heavy & hard to move around (especially the longer ones). If you get a hole in it - it's easier to make two shorter hoses than repair. HOWEVER, this hose is EXACTLY the OPPOSITE. It is light, easy to relocate and EXTRAORDINARILY TOUGH. I accidentally ran over one with my mower. The hose was wound tight around the blade & very hard to untangle. However, when I tested it there were NO LEAKS.
