Will it burst?
Ballistic's anti-burst sleeve is woven with a liquid-crystal polymer strand 5× stronger than steel by weight, over a three-layer latex core, and rated to 650 PSI. That is far beyond what a household spigot produces. Like any hose, drain it and bring it in before a freeze.
Does it really reach 50 feet?
Yes. Every Pocket Hose expands to its full stated length under normal household water pressure. It stores at roughly a third of that length when the water is off, which is the whole point.
Will it kink at the spigot?
That's what the free Pocket Pivot solves. It swivels a full 360° where the hose meets the tap, so the hose never creases at its most vulnerable point.
Does it fit my spigot?
Yes. Standard ¾-inch garden hose threads, the same as every outdoor faucet, nozzle and sprinkler in the U.S. The new paddle-grip connectors make it easier to tighten with wet hands or gloves.
Is it safe to drink from?
Yes. The connectors are copper-infused and lead-free, and the hose is drinking-water safe for kids, pets and the vegetable garden.
How do I store it for winter?
